Alvord Brain Tumor Center

The Alvord Brain Tumor Center is a collaborative group of physicians and researchers working together to improve the treatment and outcomes of patients with brain tumors. Patients are seen at a multidisciplinary patient care and diagnostic clinic at UW Medicine.

Our research programs at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Seattle Children’s Hospital, UW Medicine and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance include collaborative patient-based and basic science efforts investigating tumor and stem cell biology, modeling, nanotechnology, drug development and therapeutic response.
