The Breast Cancer Research Program is a multi-disciplinary clinical and research team that employs the most advanced treatment approaches based on the latest research findings.  Patients are seen at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance Breast Cancer Specialty Center that is directed by some of the world’s leading clinicians. 

Our internationally-recognized Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and UW Medicine researchers in basic science, medicine, and epidemiology are working to improve breast cancer prevention, detection, diagnosis and treatment.

NEW Clinical Trial for Women at Risk of Breast Cancer

In this study, Dr. Larissa Korde and other research scientists will monitor the impact of daily doses of flaxseed lignans (SDG) on the prevention of breast cancer. The clinical trial is currently enrolling pre-menopausal women at risk of breast cancer at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
